The Medical Committee of PGDAV College (Eve.) has been celebrating 60 years of academic excellence by organizing a spectrum of activities. To continue with the endeavor, the medical committee organized a talk on ‘’ AYURVEDA AND ALOPATHY – an integrated approach towards medical treatment ‘’ addressed by world renowned ayurvedic specialist DR. AKHILESH SHARMA, on march 15, 2018. Dr. Sharma was honored by Dr. RK Gupta, Principal of the college and Dr. Anita Bajaj, convener of Medical Committee , with a momento of ‘’ ॐ ‘’ signifying the essence of Vedas. After lightening of the lamp, Dr. RK Gupta mentioned the extraordinary achievements of the chief guest, Dr. Sharma and briefly introduced the topic along with emphasizing upon the importance of AYURVEDA in today’s modern world.                 The Women Development Cell (WDC) of PGDAV College (Eve.) in collaboration with MEDHAVINI SINDHU SRIJAN, in the process of celebrating 60 years of academic excellence of the college, organized a talk on INDIAN CULTURE AND YOUTH’S PERSPECTIVE on March 14, 2018 ; in which eminent and dynamic personalities such as, Dr. Pratyush Vatsala, Principal, Lakshmibai College, Dr. Jyoti Rana, Associate Professor, DAV Centenary College Faridabad, Ms. Preeti Malhotra, Convener of Medhavini Sindhu Srijan and Ms. Sunita Bhatia, Convener of Sharanya, shared their experiences and perspective regarding Indian Culture, its role and how today’s youth can lead a better and peaceful life, by not merely knowing but also adhering to the values of our inheritance. समीक्षक -  लोकेन्द्र सिंह (समीक्षक विश्व संवाद केंद्र,भोपाल के कार्यकारी निदेशक हैं।)     देश में राष्ट्रवाद से जुड़ी बहस इन दिनों चरम पर है। राष्ट्रवाद की स्वीकार्यता बढ़ी है। उसके प्रति लोगों की समझ बढ़ी है। राष्ट्रवाद के प्रति बनाई गई नकारात्मक धारणा टूट रही है। भारत में बुद्धिजीवियों का एक वर्ग ऐसा है ,  जो हर विषय को पश्चिम के चश्मे से देखते है और वहीं की कसौटियों पर कस कर उसका परीक्षण करता है। राष्ट्रवाद के साथ भी उन्होंने यही किया। राष्ट्रवाद को भी उन्होंने पश्चिम के दृष्टिकोण से देखने का प्रयास किया। जबकि भारत का राष्ट्रवाद पश्चिम के राष्ट्रवाद से सर्वथा भिन्न है। पश्चिम का राष्ट्रवाद एक राजनीतिक विचार है। चूँकि वहाँ राजनीति ने राष्ट्रों का निर्माण किया है , इसलिए वहाँ राष्ट्रवाद एक राजनीतिक विचार है। उसका दायरा बहुत बड़ा नहीं है। उसमें कट्टरवाद है,जड़ता है। हिंसा के साथ भी उसका गहरा संबंध रहा है। किंतु ,  हमारा राष्ट्र संस्कृति केंद्रित रहा है। भारत के राष्ट्रवाद की बात करते हैं तब ' सांस्कृतिक राष्ट्रवाद '  की तस्वीर उभर कर आती है। विभिन्नता में एका
