ART IS FOR EVERYONE

The poster making competition based on the theme "EDUCATED WOMEN-EMPOWERED NATION" which was organised by WDC of the PGDAV College (Evening) took place since 12th February, 2018, in a very successful manner.

Where students have shown their talent and prudence through their mesmerizing paintings and hence proved " ART IS FOR EVERYONE ".

Though the theme was same for all but there was positive variance in their performance as per their diligence and perception.

A few paintings depicted the childlike innocence of students , some got highlighted by the presence of mind whereas a few were exceptional indicating the style of an artistically professional person who is beyond at par of his/her age.
So it was overwhelming to have to all as participants.
Besides, 
A big thank to all the teachers present there for organising it real well.

      दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के पीजीडीएवी महाविद्यालय (सांध्य) ने स्वतन्त्रता दिवस के अवसर पर शहीदों को नमन करते हुये ‘ काव्यम ’ के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में एक राष्ट्रीय ‘ शौर्य कवि सम्मेलन ’ का आयोजन किया। इस अवसर पर कवियों का स्वागत करते हुये कॉलेज के प्राचार्य डॉ रवीद्र कुमार गुप्ता ने कहा कि ‘ हम तो पूरे वर्ष भर शहीदों को नमन करते हैं लेकिन 15 अगस्त का दिन उन सभी शहीदों के नाम हैं जिन्होने गुमनाम रहते हुये इस देश के लिए बलिदान दिया। ‘   इस अवसर पर सम्मेलन की अध्यक्षता करते हुये ख्याति प्राप्त कवि गजेंद्र सोलंकी ने कहा कि यह राष्ट्र तो विभिन्न संस्कृतियों को सँजो कर रखने वाला राष्ट्र है। भले ही हम विभिन्न भाषाओं , बोलियों और पंथों के हों लेकिन हम सभी का रक्त इस राष्ट्र के लिए ही बहता है।  सम्मेलन के संयोजक और संचालक हरीश अरोड़ा ने कहा कि भारत के विराट बोध को समझना है तो भारत की सांस्कृतिक धरोहर को समझना होगा।       इस अवसर पर झारखंड , मध्य प्रदेश , मथुरा , अयोध्या , दिल्ली और हरियाणा से आए कवियों ने अपनी कविताओं से सभागार में ओज का माहोल बना दिया। गजेंद्र स

                The Women Development Cell (WDC) of PGDAV College (Eve.) in collaboration with MEDHAVINI SINDHU SRIJAN, in the process of celebrating 60 years of academic excellence of the college, organized a talk on INDIAN CULTURE AND YOUTH’S PERSPECTIVE on March 14, 2018 ; in which eminent and dynamic personalities such as, Dr. Pratyush Vatsala, Principal, Lakshmibai College, Dr. Jyoti Rana, Associate Professor, DAV Centenary College Faridabad, Ms. Preeti Malhotra, Convener of Medhavini Sindhu Srijan and Ms. Sunita Bhatia, Convener of Sharanya, shared their experiences and perspective regarding Indian Culture, its role and how today’s youth can lead a better and peaceful life, by not merely knowing but also adhering to the values of our inheritance.
